Help Elect Republicans - DONATE TODAY
Pine Ching Fundraiser

Aloha!

We’ve had a busy first year since holding a terrific kickoff ‘standing room only’ event in April 2009 in Downtown Honolulu with a rousing call to action from Ewa Beach Republican and State House member Kym Pine. Since then, we've produced both of the Tax Day Tea Party events at the State Capitol, a variety of other protest rallies and educational events.

Now, it's 2010 -- an election year. A lot is at stake in Hawaii. More than five decades of Democrat domination of our state house and state senate has kept desperately needed reforms from being enacted, while government has only grown larger, more expensive, less effective, and is completely out of touch with the real concerns of everyday citizens.

HiRA will be very active this political season, with a public education campaign that we've dubbed "Hawaii Deserves Better". With your support, this campaign will help to understand the need to elect new legislators who are committed to providing better much representation and to securing better results for our tax dollars.

We hope that you'll join us today to change Hawaii tomorrow.

HiRA's "Hawaii Deserves Better" 2010 Candidate Sunday Brunch

More than ever, a Republican majority is needed to deliver long overdue reforms which will improve the quality of life in Hawaii. The current state legislature, dominated by Democrats for more than five decades, has bottled up and killed needed reforms that the Republican minority has been fighting for.

HiRA Candidate Brunch FLYERThis crucial 2010 election provides Hawaii with the best opportunity in a generation to elect a Republican majority. By attending HiRA's "Hawaii Deserves Better" candidate luncheon on Sunday, July 11th, you are helping Republican candidates to get one step closer to winning their races against well-funded incumbents. Hawaii really does deserve better, and our state house and state senate candidates are the people who can deliver on the promise of better representation and better results.

This July 11th forum, held just days before the deadline to file as a candidate, is being sponsored by the Hawaii Republican Assembly and by Hawaii Deserves Better, organizations which are encouraging reform-minded fiscal conservatives to run for all 51 State House seats and the 13 State Senate seats that will be on the ballot this year.

Time permitting, we will also hear from Republican candidates for other elected offices, such as mayor, city council, governor and lieutenant governor. Brunch starts at 11am, and the candidate convention officially gets underway at noon.

Tickets are just $20 each and are available online NOW here on HiRA's website or at the Hawaii Deserves Better campaign website. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Republican Assembly’s Hawaii Deserves Better 2010 Campaign Fund, a public education campaign to inform the public about the failures of the Democrat majority at the Hawaii State Legislature.

So please come and support the brave men and women who will put Hawaii on the right track - our candidates for State House and State Senate. See you there . . .

Mahalo!

The Hawaii Republican Assembly (HiRA) is a state registered grassroots political organization working to make the Republican Party stronger and to get principled Republican candidates elected to public offices at all levels -- county, state and federal. In 2010, our priority in Hawaii is State House and State Senate races. Why focus on the State Legislature? History has shown that the increasing stranglehold by Democrats on the 51 member House and 25 member Senate invariably leads to the annual bottling up and killing of needed reforms which would otherwise improve our cost of living and the cost of doing business in the Aloha State.
HiRA is affiliated with the National Federation of Republican Assemblies, a national organization which serves as the umbrella for chapters nationwide. The NFRA has a 70 year history of success as a true grassroots organization. Originally established by the California Republican Assembly, it is our nation's oldest and largest Republican volunteer organization. President Reagan said that the Republican Assembly is, "The Conscience of the Republican Party."
Paid for by the Hawaii Republican Assembly and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee. Contributions to the Hawaii Republican Assembly are not deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. Funds received in response to this solicitation are subject to state contribution limits.
